Are you curious about rock climbing
and abseiling? Have you climbed in a gym and would like
to experience climbing on real rock! The thing about
rock climbing is that you don’t have to very strong;
you just have to think and work out the puzzle of holds
in front of you and then you use your balance to use
the holds to move upwards. Rock climbing is fun, satisfying
and everyone can have a go! For a family and a group
of friends it can be the highlight of your holiday.
Of course outdoor climbing is for all ages - we take
the very young and the not so very young. Our job is
to ensure that you have lots of fun in a safe environment.
We can take you on a half day, an ‘easy’
day (a bit more than a half day) or a full day climbing
& abseiling. That’s about as good as it gets.
We give private lessons and specialise in crack climbing
& slab or friction climbing. K7 has enthusiastic,
experienced guides ready to take you out there.
SNOWY

SNOWY
MOUNTAINS
SIGNATURE ROCKS
Best as an ‘easy day’ or full day out amongst
the granite tors of the Ramshead Range. Be as high as
the eagles perched on a soft nest of snow grass, surrounded
by wildflowers with the world below you. Signature Rocks
climbs are for everyone, popular with family groups
with young children eager to try the easier climbs and
abseils. For the more adventurous, plenty of intermediate
climbing and abseiling available. There are also some
very hard and technical routes (top roped) with exhilarating
abseils for thrill seekers. Bring a picnic lunch. Alternatively,
book with us to abseil the overhang at Jindabyne Rock
and try a range of climbs in the sun - some technical
and grippy - for a half day of pure joy.
JINDABYNE ROCK
This classic crag has plenty of climbing and abseiling
and at the end of a half day you will feel, well - happy
and probably exhausted! Suitable for families and children
as well as more experienced climbers. The Jindabyne
Rock is accessible with some shelter and a great option
when the weather closes in around the mountains. During
the summer months, the rock environs are best for morning
climbing as the rock gets hotter in the afternoon. Finish
off with a swim in Lake Jindabyne or chill out at a
local cafe, club or pub.
BLUE
LAKE
For more advanced climbers - connect with an experienced
