SUMMER
'Summer' in the Snowy
Mountains kicks in on 1 November with the opening
of the walking, x-country biking and alpine rock
climbing seasons and continues through Easter until
late May. At lower altitudes summer activities remain
on the calendar right through the winter, especially,
rock climbing & abseiling on the sunbaked Jindabyne
Crag or close by in Canberra. |

WINTER
'Winter' starts in early June
with the first heavy snow falls and continues
through to the end of October with back country
ski touring and snow shoe trips extending the
season long past the resorts closing their ski
lifts and trails. Unseasonable snow falls occur
throughout the year so it is always wise to pack
something warm, something wind & weatherproof
& something cool! |

| Activities advertised
on the KA7 - Kosciuszko Adventures - are located
in the natural environment, primarily the Snowy

the challenges of nature automatically bring a
level of risk to participants. All participants
are therefore advised to consider their own level
of preparedness and fitness prior to engaging
in activities. Whilst KA7 guides are experienced
and familiar with the risks and environment, we
encourage you to talk to us prior to booking an
activity so that you experience maximum enjoyment. |
