Acacia Rose became hooked on back country ski adventures in 2001 when she recommenced her sojourn with the Snowy Mountains. Locals showed Acacia the essential elements of good equipment, terrain and technique building in her the solid experience necessary to enjoy the back country! As Alpine Riverkeeper Acacia spends as much time possible in all seasons exploring the micro-climates out from Thredbo at the same time building her knowledge of the area including the best skiing and snow shoeing spots.
