Marion has lived and worked in the Snowy Mountains since 1979 and is a Backcountry Guide and Ski Instructor with years of experience. Growing up in the European Alps and Tasmania enhanced Marion’s love of the mountains and started her on a skiing career at the age of 3 years old. Multilingual, she has guided in South America, Kashmir, Romania, France, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, including 8 years with the acclaimed Alpinschule Dolomiten/Scuola Alpina Dolomiti. In the northern winters, she is now generally found in the French Haute Savoie or the Italian Dolomites where she guides multi lingual ski groups. In the southern winter, her home is Thredbo, where she enjoys sharing her passion for alpine touring in the backcountry with like-minded skiers.

Accreditations include APSI ISIA Alpine, AMSCI Ass. Maestri Sci Italiani , and membership of the World Federation of Tourist Guides.
