Rob has been escaping into the bush to experience outdoor adventures for more than forty years.
Initially passionate about bushwalking, Rob then ventured into caving and canyoning, before discovering the exhilaration of rock climbing.
Rob's familiarity with ACT wild places is the result of countless weekends spent exploring Canberra's nature parks and reserves, and from his time working as a conservation ranger for ACT Parks.
His knowledge of local ecology derives from studies in environmental science and from undertaking vegetation survey fieldwork throughout the region.
Rob loves assisting others appreciate nature while they challenge themselves physically and mentally, be it negotiating a bush track, abseiling into a cave, or scaling a cliff.
