FULL
DAY MT KOSCIUSZKO MAJESTIC TOUR
A must for winter enthusiasts! There is nothing more
beautiful than standing on top of Australia in mid-winter,
the sun shining, the mountains covered in snow, the
snow-capped Victorian high country on the horizon and
Mt Jagungal prominent to the north. Kosciuszko National
Park is as compelling in the winter months as it is
during the summer wildflower season and you can make
your Kosciuszko Summit debut or return trip on snowshoes
in winter. For Seven Summiteers Mt Kosciuszko in winter
is just wonderful and will deliver a different sort
of high as you experience climbing some of the big peaks
on the earth. The Kosciuszko weather can be truly challenging
with blizzard conditions, ferocious winds and zero visibility.
The winter landscape is also unremarkable if you are
not acquainted with the usual peak and handrails that
can disappear behind low lying clouds. Go with a guide!
