What to bring

  • Suitable footwear waterproof for snow shoes or alpine ski-touring / cross country boots, skis and poles, (http://www.rhythm.net.au/)
  • Thermals under warm long pants by two and thermals under a long sleeved top
  • Light 200 weight fleece and a down or Primaloft puffy jacket
  • Gore-Tex (or similar) waterproof parka and over pants
  • Sunscreen & sunhat
  • All personal hygiene and medical items
  • Sunglasses / goggles
  • Warm waterproof snow gloves or mitts & liners
  • Beanie & buff
  • Two pairs warm thermal socks
  • 1-2 litre of water
  • Led head torch & spare batteries
  • High energy snacks (such as some chocolate or mixed nuts)
  • Overnight pack, winter sleeping bag, tent & stove (hire available)
