Ride an e-bike out along the summit access road at golden hour. Stop in at Seamans Hut before summiting Mt. Kosciuszko for the ultimate sunset view. We’ll leave the bikes at Rawsons Pass and climb the last part of the trail on foot. Once we get back to the bikes we’ll switch on our head torches and make the speedy ride downhill all the way home!

WHAT TO BRING

BEING BIKE READY

  • Meeting point Charlottes Pass

    Duration: 4 Hours

    Meeting Time: Determined based on the day's sunset time (e.g., 3 hours before sunset).

    Activity Start: Gather at Charlotte's Pass for a brief introduction and safety talk. Allocate mountain bikes or eBikes and head torches.

    First Hour: Begin the ride along the summit access road towards Seamans Hut. This part of the journey offers stunning views and a chance to warm up for the summit.

    Second Hour: Arrive at Seamans Hut. Short break for rest and refreshments. Opportunity to learn about the hut’s history and take in the surrounding scenery.

    Pre-Sunset: Resume the ride towards the summit of Mt. Kosciuszko. Leave your bikes at Rawsons Pass to make the final ascent on foot. The journey is timed to reach the summit for golden hour, just before sunset.

    Sunset: Experience the ultimate sunset view from the summit. Time for photos, a drink and to enjoy the breathtaking vistas.

    Post-Sunset: Make our way back to Rawsons. Turn on your e-bike and head torches. Begin the downhill ride back towards Charlotte's Pass. The descent is exhilarating, with cooler temperatures and evening skies. Gloves are crucial here it is chilly!

    End of Tour: Arrive back at Charlotte's Pass. The tour concludes with a rush of adrenaline and the satisfaction of a unique adventure with unforgettable sunset views.
