Head out into the beautiful Kosciuszko Alpine Region with long-time mountain guide and landscape photographer Mike Edmondson. Mike runs tours year-round and knows these mountains like the back of his hand. He can take you or your group out on snowshoes (ideal for first-timers), alpine touring skis, cross country skis, or a splitboard. He offers three to four-day experiences camping out in the mountains. During this time he will teach you snow craft and alpine survival skills, plus alpine photography skills (if this is something that interests you). Kosciuszko Winter Camping
3-Day Snowshoeing & Introduction to Camping
Three to four days camping in the Snowy Mountains, learning snow craft, alpine survival skills and summiting Mt Kosciuszko (2228m). Available on snowshoes, alpine touring skis, cross-country skis or a splitboard. Small groups of no more than six people.
Historic Huts Tour Winter
3-Day Hiking & Camping Experience
A snowy 3–4 day expedition through Kosciuszko National Park and the Jagungal Wilderness, uncovering its historic mountain huts — Horsecamp, White's River, Mawsons and Valentines Hut. Snowshoes or a ski touring set up are essential.
